Artist's Description
La Jolla, a hilly seaside community that occupies 7 miles of curving coastline along the Pacific Ocean within the northern city limits of San Diego, California. This photo was taken after the sun had set. Somehow I managed to change my camera settings fast enough to capture the lone brown pelican flying north.
About Mark Whitt
I was fortunate enough to have a job that sent me to places I never could have imagined going to. I desired to capture those places through my camera so I could share the photographs with my family and friends. Photography has sent me on a journey to seek out dramatic moments and new places. My photographs allow me to relive those moments and force me to pause and give thanks for how fortunate I have been to be able to see and experience the things that I have seen.
