Horseshoe Bend, one of the most photographed areas on the Colorado River, located just north of Grand Canyon and outside Page Arizona. It's a 1,000 foot (300 m) drop from the top of the cliffs to the ground below. For this reason, I mounted my camera on a 18 foot pole (Pixie Pole) and extended it out horizontally over the cliff to take this photo.

I was fortunate enough to have a job that sent me to places I never could have imagined going to. I desired to capture those places through my camera so I could share the photographs with my family and friends. Photography has sent me on a journey to seek out dramatic moments and new places. My photographs allow me to relive those moments and force me to pause and give thanks for how fortunate I have been to be able to see and experience the things that I have seen.
