Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay, a National Natural Landmark. Emerald Bay is one of Lake Tahoe's most photographed and popular locations. With a consistant three day weather report predicting cloud coverage for South Lake Tahoe to be 50% for Friday and Saturday, I took the 9 hour drive to Emerald Bay. While the 50% cloud coverage was not present for either day's sunrise, Emerald Bay is a beautiful location to visit.
I was fortunate enough to have a job that sent me to places I never could have imagined going to. I desired to capture those places through my camera so I could share the photographs with my family and friends. Photography has sent me on a journey to seek out dramatic moments and new places. My photographs allow me to relive those moments and force me to pause and give thanks for how fortunate I have been to be able to see and experience the things that I have seen.
