With the sunset gone, it was time to enjoy the grandeur of the ocean. It turned out to be more of a challenge to photograph than expected. I finally got the photo and the wave crashing against the rocks got me...at Nicholson Point (according to Google Maps) in La Jolla, CA on 10 July, 2014.
I was fortunate enough to have a job that sent me to places I never could have imagined going to. I desired to capture those places through my camera so I could share the photographs with my family and friends. Photography has sent me on a journey to seek out dramatic moments and new places. My photographs allow me to relive those moments and force me to pause and give thanks for how fortunate I have been to be able to see and experience the things that I have seen. If you would like one of my photographs printed on material or via a process (i.e. dye sublimation metal, face-mount acrylic, mounted on gatorfoam, etc.) that FineArtAmerica.com does not offer, please contact me.
